can anyone tell me if you have shares in a company should you receive dividends. Why i ask is i have shares with a company but have never received a dividend since buying them three years go.
Normally all the trades which equity mutual funds do would be either short (non-qualified dividend) or long term capital gain. So how does qualified dividend generated which gets special lower tax treatment ?
